One image is great, but a combination of images is a story. Using the free image combiner, you can quickly create stunning photo collages to highlight your blog posts, work projects, or social media content. It can also be a fantastic way to create YouTube thumbnails that stand out, Pinterest posts, as well as Instagram stories that will capture attention and get more shares.

Kapwing has the perfect free tool to play with photo backgrounds, combine several images and create visual stories. I’ll walk you through the few easy steps to create amazing photo collages in a matter of minutes.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1.     Select a template for your image

2.     Upload your photos

3.     Adjust the images and add text

4.     Publish and download or share

Select a Template

Depending on the photos you’re using, pick out a grid that will work best for your project. I’m going with a square, Insta-ready four-photo template as I’m making a quick Instagram post about off-road riding.

Upload Photos

Now that your grid is ready, select the images you want to use and upload them to the Kapwing Collage Maker. Drag the photos around to arrange them in the order you want. You can experiment with the image size by dragging the corner of the photo to make it fit the template. Take a look at how the photos work together; you can always replace them with new uploads if you aren’t happy with how they look in a collage.

Adjust the Images

If all of your images are already adjusted, you can skip this step. However, if you feele they need a little retouching, now is the time to do it: you can crop them and adjust the brightness, contrast, and other parameters by using the tools in the right hand-side toolbar. Then, add text, emojis, or stickers.

Publish and Download

You’re all done! Hit “Publish” in the top right-hand corner, then download the image or share it straight to your social media. If you do, don’t forget to tag @kawping.app – we love to see what our amazing creators produce!
